Jason Wright – Peewee AA Head Coach

Jason Wright brings more than 20 years of coaching experience, working with players across all ages and skill levels. He spent 15 years coaching within the Ice Dogs organization, including six seasons at the Bantam and Midget levels with Central States Major and Minor teams.

Over the past four years, Jason has coached at Carmel Catholic High School at both the Junior Varsity and Varsity 2 levels. Originally from Burlington, Ontario, Canada, Jason grew up playing hockey and continues to stay actively involved in the game today.

Aidan Vettraino – Peewee AA Assistant Coach

Aidan Vettraino is originally from Lake Villa and played hockey for 13 years. During his playing career, he competed for several organizations, including the Ice Dogs and CYA, while spending the majority of his youth hockey career with the Central States Falcons.

Aidan graduated from the University of Missouri in 2023 with a degree in Business. This past season marked his first year coaching at Carmel Catholic High School at the Junior Varsity level, where he rediscovered his passion for the game from behind the bench. Aidan is excited for the season ahead and looks forward to continuing to grow as a coach while helping players develop both on and off the ice.

Whether your player is returning to the Ice Dogs or exploring our program for the first time, we encourage them to take advantage of these skates. It's a great opportunity to get extra ice time, meet the coaches, and experience the culture we are building within the Peewee program.

We are excited about the future of our Peewee teams and look forward to seeing everyone on the ice this summer.
